Xenomorph is a monstrous extraterrestrial monster that first appeared in director Ridley Scott’s 1979 film Alien (1979). Since then the Xenomorph has become one of Hollywood’s most famous horror and sci-fi icons. In addition to appearing in the Alien film, Xenomorph has also returned to being the main star in various sequels. These include Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992), and Alien Resurrection (1997). As well as in the two crossover films Alien vs. Predator and two prequel films.
Thanks to the success of the franchise, it’s not surprising that there are currently a number of new Alien shows in development. Starting from the spin-off film Aliens which is planned to be directed by Neill Blomkamp. Then there is also a prequel film Alien: Covenant (2017) which is reportedly re-directed by Ridley Scott. Until this time we will discuss, namely the Alien series which is being developed by showrunner Noah Hawley, with a plot that takes place on Earth about 70 years from now. Interestingly, recently, there was a leaked image that revealed the appearance of the Xenomorph in the series.
Xenomorph Appears Ferocious in Future Settings
This concept image leak has just come from the Avp Galaxy site. Where the picture shows a Xenomorph clutching a human head while falling from a height. Xenomorph’s appearance in the Alien series that will air on the FX channel looks like a version of his complete metamorphosis. With a smaller body, but still looks terrible with an oval head, a prominent spine, and a serrated tail.
Along with the release of this Xenomorph concept image, Avp Galaxy also dissects the current scene from other images. Where one of the images shows the Weyland-Yutani plane, USCSS Maginot, which crashed in the middle of a modern city. The city is under the control of the Prodigy Corporation, Weyland-Yutani’s rival. For those who don’t know, Weyland-Yutani is a conglomerate that has been around since the first Alien movie.
With this new reveal at least we don’t have to worry about the series anymore. Because it turns out that the development is still running smoothly, in which Ridley Scoot is also directly involved in its manufacture. Because now the Alien series is still in the development stage, and will only start production in 2023
