EA Games Announces Iron Man Game. Marvel is a multimedia entertainment company that has penetrated various lines. Starting from Marvel Comics which has been established since 1939, to Marvel Studios which produces MCU films and series. There are also games whose production rights they entrust to a number of developers. For example, Marvel’s Spider-Man games from Imsoniac Games and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy from Eidos-Montreal.
A few weeks ago at the D23 event, Marvel itself had hinted that in the future they would be more serious about the game world. In one of the panels, they even revealed an open-world game project that will feature the characters Captain America and Black Panther. It was also revealed last year that Imsoniac was working on other Marvel games, including Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. Now, it looks like another of our favorite characters is getting a game of its own.
EA Announces New Iron Man Game
After being the hope of many fans, finally Iron Man will get his own game. This exciting announcement just came from a game developer as big as EA. They revealed that the game, which is currently in development, will be a single player Iron Man game in the third person style, like the Spider-Man game. Where later EA will work with Marvel Games and Motive Studio to realize this quite ambitious game.
Vice President of Marvel Games, Bill Roseman, had expressed his joy regarding the announcement of this Iron Man game. “We are thrilled to be collaborating with the talented team at Motive Studio to realize their original vision of one of Marvel’s most important, powerful, and beloved characters,” said Roseman. “Their experience in presenting an entertaining world and thrilling gameplay will drive us to bring you the best Iron Man games.”
Although this project is quite promising, not a few fans are actually worried. One of the reasons is because EA is famous as a game publisher that popularizes microtransactions. Hopefully the game will be able to provide the best experience in playing games without having to bring these features.
